Charity governance refers to the systems and processes in place to ensure the organisation is effectively and ethically managed, remains accountable, and achieves its mission. For The Recycling Lady Foundation, strong governance is the foundation of our operations and impact. Our governance structure includes a dedicated board of trustees who provide oversight, ensure compliance with legal and financial regulations, and guide the charity’s strategic direction. Transparency and accountability are at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that all resources are used responsibly to maximise the positive change we create. Regular reporting, clear policies, and ethical decision-making are central to maintaining trust with our donors, partners, and the communities we serve.
